Refund Policy

Faulty Item?

We sincerely apologize if you've received a faulty item. In the rare event this happens, please reach out to our support team at contact@universelights.com, and we will promptly assist in resolving the issue.

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process your return.

Partial Refunds:

  • In some instances, only partial refunds may be granted, such as:
    • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons other than our error.
    • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a specified number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Double-check your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as there may be a delay before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.

Sale Items

Please note that only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items are not refundable.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at contact@universelights.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send the refund to the gift giver.

Shipping

You are responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping Times:

  • The time required for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.

Shipping Insurance:

  • If you're returning an item valued at over $100, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
